		<description>FREE WINE TASTING AT O&#039;DARBY&#039;S
We will be tasting six (6) different wines at O&#039;Darby&#039;s on Friday. This will be a predominately Riesling wine tasting day as we have not tasted many Rieslings in the past. The official count is six wines - we will probably do a couple of surprise wines. See You Friday!
Chateau Ste Michelle 2006 Columbia Valley Dry Riesling
Wine Makers Notes: &quot;For 15 years we made a special dry Riesling just for the Northwest. The wine developed a loyal following and sold out quickly every year. Slowly we started hearing from customers in other parts of the country who wanted this dryer style Riesling. Starting with this 2006 vintage, we are happy to offer our Dry Riesling nationwide. The Chateau Ste. Michelle Dry Riesling is a dry, crisp, refreshing style of Riesling with beautiful forward fruit flavors, crisp acidity and an elegant finish. It offers brisk, cooler climate Riesling character of white peach and mandarin oranges with a clean finish. We followed the German model for classifying this as a dry Riesling and made it in the &quot;Troken&quot; style. Our Dry Riesling is very versatile with food. Try it with Asian dishes or shrimp.&quot; Our Price: $9.99
Chateau Ste Michelle 2006 Columbia Valley Riesling Wine Makers Notes:
&quot;We craft our Columbia Valley Riesling to be an inviting, refreshing, off-dry Riesling vintage after vintage. This Riesling consistently delivers classic Washington state Riesling character of juicy peach, apricot, ripe pear, melon, with subtle mineral notes. This is our&quot;every day Riesling&quot; that is a pleasure to drink and easy to match with a variety of foods.&quot;
86 pts. and &quot;Best Value&quot; - Wine Spectator
&quot;The Divas Choice:Nine Wines under $20&quot; - O Magazine
#3 Popular Bargain, Annual Restaurant Poll - Wine &amp; Spirits
Our Price: $9.99
Foris 2005 Gewurztraminer Winemaker&#039;s notes: Clearly Gewurztraminer on the nose - Bees wax, lemon peel and lychee nuts. Mid- weight, bright and clearly focused. Very spicy in the Gewurzy sense. Does not show any obvious sweetness, just well ripened fruit. Complex, though not subtle. Plenty of acid, but still mouthfilling and complete. Long finish crying out for spicy food. Our Price: $12.99
Waterbrook 2006 Riesling Wine Makers Notes: Jasmine and marigold floral notes and hints of clementine aromas greet you. Juicy nectarines and honeysuckle lead to a clean finish with balanced fruit flavors and acidity. Our Price: $12.99
Falcon Hill 2005 Riesling Wine Makers Notes: Crisp and Dry with delicate apple and grapefruit notes, Falcon Hill Dry Riesling gives you another option from Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. An excellent match with seafood, shellfish, poultry and of course, just for sipping! Our Price: $10.99
Black Chook Shiraz Sparkling This non vintage wine sparkles to the tune of a well balanced blend. Predominantly 3 year old shiraz, aged in old French oak barrels, shows wonderful smooth integrated fruit and a rich weighty texture across the palate. This is blended with a touch of younger vintage shiraz that brings ripe, juicy, fruit character to the finished product. Our Price: $14.99
HEAD BALL COACH CHARDONNAY SORRY CAROLINA FANS - WE ARE NOT TASTING THIS WINE. Just wanted to remind each of you Carolina Fans that we have this wine in stock as it is selling fast. Our Price: $13.99 See you Friday!
